1930’s Hall Stand

150.00

1930’s hall stand a perfect piece of furniture, one that fits into those unused spaces in a room, but adds colour and style.
We are using it for our planters and pots, the twilight blue colour on the shelfs contrast wonderfully with the wood.
The beautiful craftsmanship can be seen in the way this piece has been structured and makes a great feature.
We are still a little perplexed as to the the actual function of the hinges on the back, it has created a discussion point and gives it a little bit of mystery.

1930’s Hall Stand

Restoration and Damage Details:
Completely restored.
Wooden frame sanded and finished on a walnut stain. Sealed with furniture oil.
The shelves had heavy damage on the surface that would have needed deep sanding and as this was a veneered piece that was not an option.
So we lightly hand sanded and then finished in a General finishes Twilight Milk Paint.
One final polish and buff and it has its glory back

Every item sold  vintage or antique  will show signs of fair wear and tear due to their age.
We take pride in every piece of furniture we restore and we will not send any item out if we are not entirely happy with its condition.
