A fantastic solid and heavy oak 1940s desk.
The beautiful colours of the solid oak wood are brought back to life by using our wonderful Bison wax.
The desk has 5 drawers and a small cupboard. The desk space on the top is spacious.

On opening the drawers we found some amazing pieces of the Desks School History. A wonderful set of Test papers dating back to 1946 -1950s. see pictures for details.

Would be a fabulous piece for any space, decoratively or as a fully functioning Piece, we love it and its making quite talking point in the shop.

1940s Large oak Desk

Restoration and Imperfection details:
Restored — Fully restored, a lot surface damage , scratches and writing on inside as you would expect from a school desk

Completely re-sanded and treated for woodworm.
Finished and sealed in a wood oil to counteract the sanding process, nourishing the wood so it will overtime stay protected.
Original brass handles cleaned and fixed.
