Care Instructions
Top tips to care for your new tableware:
- Fear not, most of our range is dishwasher and microwave safe, except a few ‘Crackle’ glazes – keep scrolling to find out more on those
- Don’t put them in the oven (they don’t like getting too hot!)
- Try not to overdo it on the scrubbing – gently does it
- Temperature shock can cause things to crack, so avoid rapidly switching between hot and cold temperatures
- Lastly, don’t drop them: they’ll break and we’ll all be sad.
Crackle Glazes
These beauties have a glaze that looks like cracked glass on the surface. They’re pretty special but require a little more care and attention than our regular products:
- Don’t use in a dishwasher unless you’re a careful stacker and use a gentle cycle. Crackle glazes are fragile and prefer hand washing in warm water with a mild detergent
- Keep them out of the microwave. The heat generated can open up the cracks of the glaze, which can lead to food and oil stains, and nasty bacteria – nobody wants that
- Avoid long soaking in the sink as it can cause mould to appear. Opt for a prompt rinse and a gentle clean
