Description
This Large Square Lamp is a clever reuse of old steel floor flange and brass fitting. This beautiful valve lamp is compressed together by hand into a very simple form using plumbing materials Emmet recycles. He hand polishes the metal to a natural finish that will age and develop character over time.
This lamp design comes from the exposed Edison bulb furthermore each design is enhanced to accentuate its beauty. This table lamp not only lights up your space with a delicate and ambient tone but also adds a quirky and artistic note.

Taking Care
All materials used are recycled or salvaged where possible. No lacquer or covering is used. The material is polished to a natural finish by hand and the products are designed to age over time.
Over time copper naturally changes colour. Transforming from a shiny brown/red colour to darker browns, then blues and finally greens after a number of years. When exposed to the natural elements copper develops this ‘patina’ which actually protects and preserves the metal underneath.
If you wish to clean the copper, we recommend some very fine wire wool or some P1000 or higher silicone carbide sandpaper both of which can be picked up from your local hardware shop. Please make sure the lamp is disconnected from the mains before cleaning. Please do not clean the copper effect lamp holder as its painted!
