This is one my favourite pieces it once was a tall writing bureau but got separated from its base. Its making quite an impression on its won now.
The beautiful cupboard display is practical and decorative, it can be hung on a wall for space saving or adding to a kitchen unit or freestanding in an office or hallway..
The mixture of Colour and original wood make it a truly unique piece.

Detailed Condition:
Restored — this wonderful piece was in a terrible state when it came to us, it had been separated from its bottom desk!

Restoration and Damage Details:

First, the worn and decayed veneer was removed, revealing a beautiful pine finish beneath. Next, the outer shell needed treatment for woodworm. If left untreated, woodworm can lead to weakened wood, but fortunately, we caught this early. Next, the doors were repaired, and the upper glass removed and a new base added to create a stunning, open display case. After a lick of twilight blue paint to compliment the pine interior, regal yet rustic, there’s plenty of space to display all kinds of wares, making it suitable for any room.

Every item sold by Smiths Emporium is vintage/antique please be aware before purchasing that they may show signs of fair wear and tear due to their age,
